With Cron jobs you can schedule scripts to run periodically at fixed times, dates, or intervals. For example, to send a notification when a subscription expiration date is approaching.

Set up Crons by logging into your server with SSH (as described here) and enter the command:

crontab -e

A text editor will open (choose nano if you get the question which editor to use). Scroll down to the bottom of this file and paste the line below. Make sure to update the correct path to match your installation root:

* * * * * php7.3-sp /srv/users/[system user]/apps/[app name]/public/artisan schedule:run >> /dev/null 2>&1

Where:

If you do not use ServerPilot, use php instead of php7.3-sp:

* * * * * php /path/to/script/public/artisan schedule:run >> /dev/null 2>&1
